Violet Line
The Violet Line, also known as Line 6, is a significant route in the Delhi Metro system. It stretches 45 kilometers from Kashmere Gate in New Delhi to Raja Nahar Singh in Ballabhgarh, Haryana. Inaugurated on October 3, 2010, the Violet Line has 34 stations and serves around 300,000 daily commuters. The maximum travel time from one end to the other is 64 minutes, with a maximum fare of Rs 60. Five interchange stations—Kashmere Gate, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, Lajpat Nagar, and Kalkaji Mandir—allow passengers to switch to other lines seamlessly. The section between ITO and Kashmere Gate is also known as the Heritage Line
